Accel-RF Corporation
The advanced development of new technologies, such as SiC and GaN, have opened the opportunity for more efficient and higher voltage/power performance in switching and power management circuits. Their high cutoff frequencies, low on-state resistance, and very high breakdown voltages can increase power supply power handling densities approaching hundreds of watts/inch. Reliability of these new technologies and techniques is critical for realizing practical applications. While Silicon devices have a rich history of proven reliability, these newer compound semiconductor technologies are too new to have a reliability history and have not been well proven. Further, process variations, even in well-controlled lines, yield widely varying results. This has driven the need for additional testing and to burn-in devices prior to delivery.

DX Series -
Cytec Corp.
Cytec's DX Series Switching Systems are based on solid state switch fabric. All systems are non-blocking (any input to any output) and full fan-out (any input to any or all outputs)The DX/256x256 systems are designed to switch TTL, CMOS, LVTTL, IRIG, RS232 and RS422 up to 80 Mbps NRZ. Input and output buffers are used to convert to RS422 and/or RS232 signal levels as needed. The DXM/64x64 and DXM/128x128 are modular systems capable of switching data rates to 3.2 Gbps NRZ. They are intended to switch RS422, ECL, PECL, LVDS, CML and virtually any type of digital data stream. Configurations as large as 128x128 Clock and Data systems can be easily configured. The DX/64x64 is an earlier version of the DXM and offers systems up to 64x64 with SMA connectors for ECL, PECL, LVDS or RS422.

Pickering Interfaces Ltd.
The eBIRST toolset consists of four different tools that support 200-pin LFH, 104-pin, 78-pin and 50-pin D-type connectors and a set of adaptors that allow connection to other connector types. A supplied application program controls the eBIRST tools via a USB2 port that also provides the tool power and controls the switching system using a Test Definition File to define the test sequence.

VDM Series -
Cytec Corp.
Cytec's VDM Series of video and RF switching systems are based on a solid state switch fabric and are available in non-blocking, full fan-out configurations of 8x8 to 32x32, with a small signal bandpass of 400MHz. Input and output buffers can be modified for different impedance or signal levels. Both the switch modules and control modules are modular for ease of expansion and low MTTR. Start with an 8x8 matrix and expand to a 32x32 simply by adding additional input and output modules.

RS Series -
Cytec Corp.
The RS Series computer controlled switching systems are designed to switch multi-wire groups of signal up to 25 wires. These systems are typically used for signals such as parallel TTL, RS232, RS422, WAN or modems, but can also be used for any group of analog or digital signals having a bandpass up to 30 MHz or a data rate up to 20 Mbps. A modular design concept is used that provides configuration flexibility by allowing display modules, different control modules and switch modules to be combined into a single chassis.LED displays and switch point status feedback are available on most systems. Computer control via IEEE488 (GPIB) and RS232 is standard, while TCP/IP Ethernet LAN, USB and manual controls are optionally available.

JX Series -
Cytec Corp.
This compact and economically priced series can be used as either 1xN multiplexers, 2xN matrices, or individual switches. As multiplexers, they can be used as a large number of individual muxes or jumpered together to form as large a mux as you need to switch a large number of inputs or outputs to one common port. As a 2xN matrix they allow you to switch any number of signals between two ports of a DVM, DMM, LCR, or other type of meter or supply. Individual relay modules are available for other configurations requiring discrete SPST or SPDT relays with standard or power relays.
